Step by Step

The experience begins at Westchester County Airport, from where you’ll take off towards the New York city skyline. As you approach Manhattan, the skyline will gradually come into view, offering a completely different perspective to that seen from the street.

With the 30-minute option, the flight focuses on the upper and central areas of Manhattan. From the air, you’ll be able to see Central Park, the Empire State Building and much of Midtown before continuing on to Harlem, Yankee Stadium and the imposing George Washington Bridge.

This option is a good choice if you want a broad overview of the heart of Manhattan without travelling as far as the southern tip of the island. It’s important to bear in mind that the 30-minute tour does not include Lower Manhattan or the area around the Statue of Liberty.

If you choose the 45-minute option, the flight continues southwards and takes in some of New York’s most recognisable landmarks. You’ll fly over Lower Manhattan, with views of the Freedom Tower and Battery Park, before heading out towards the harbour.

The highlight comes when you see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty from the air, with a panoramic view of the entire Manhattan skyline before returning to Westchester. This option offers a much more comprehensive view of the city and its relationship with the harbour.

I have flown on several tours, and this is one of the best. The city looks different from the air. Take an extra battery for your camera.

Flying over Manhattan is something you have to do at least once. The explanation in English was good, but I would have appreciated more Spanish.

360 degree views of Manhattan. Heliport from Westchester allows you to avoid city traffic. Top experience.

A passing cloud initially covered part of Manhattan, but then it cleared and was worth the wait. Book if you have a good forecast.
