Windsor, Stonehenge & Bath Day Trip from London

The tour begins in central London, from where you’ll set off on an air-conditioned coach bound for Windsor. During the journey, the guide will share information about the places visited and the English countryside, allowing you to make the most of a day steeped in history.

In Windsor, you’ll discover a town with close ties to the British monarchy. By selecting the relevant option, you’ll be able to enter Windsor Castle, explore its sumptuous State Apartments and visit St George’s Chapel, the setting for royal weddings and the final resting place of Queen Elizabeth II. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when the castle is closed, a guided tour of the town takes place instead.

The route continues to Stonehenge, a stone circle erected some 5,000 years ago and still shrouded in mystery. With the relevant ticket, you can get up close to the monument, learn about the theories surrounding its construction and visit the visitor centre, where archaeological artefacts and reconstructions of Neolithic dwellings are on display.

The final stop will be Bath, a World Heritage City famous for its elegant Georgian architecture. Depending on the option you choose, you’ll be able to visit the Roman Baths and see the ancient hot springs, or have some free time to explore places such as Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge before returning to London.
