Before arriving on the island, you will be able to see some of the most important monuments of the city from the boat. Among these are the Maiden's Tower, a building on an islet 200 m off the coast, or Galata Tower. As well as seeing them, you will also learn about them from the guide's commentary.

Once you arrive at the islands you will also have free time to explore them on your own. You can take your swimming costume and take a dip in the sea, or if you prefer you can wander more of the streets on your own and go into different shops or stalls.

    Heybeli and Buyukada were my favourite islands. They gave us enough free time to enjoy at our own pace and take good pictures. Besides the restaurants there are several lovely souvenir shops.
