The Madrid sightseeing bus is the best way to get to know the Spanish capital in a short time and at your own pace. Two routes, one through the historic side of the city and the other through the modern area, will allow you to enjoy iconic views of Madrid for 24 hours, such as the Almudena Cathedral, the Gran Vía, the Cibeles and Neptuno fountains and the Círculo de Bellas Artes, among many other tourist attractions in the city.
Also, during the summer, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a panoramic route by night (without free stops). This experience is perfect for exploring the city at dusk and marvelling at the beauty of Madrid illuminated. Available from 15 June to 15 September.

By purchasing tickets for the Madrid tourist bus you can discover the wonders of the Spanish capital through two essential routes.
The ticket, valid for 24 hours, starts to count from the first time you use the bus. In other words, if, for example, you start using the bus at 13:00 on a Monday, the ticket will be valid until 13:00 on Tuesday. Both routes are circular. Route 1 starts and ends at the Prado Museum, while Route 2 starts and ends at Plaza de Neptuno.
With Route 1, which operates every day from 9:35am to 6:20pm, you will have the opportunity to get to know Historic Madrid, where you will find:

- Puerta de Alcalá
- Gran Vía
- Plaza de España
- Plaza de Colón
- Debod Temple
- Puerta de Toledo
- Reina Sofía Museum
- Botanical Garden
Route 2, which runs between 9:56am and 5:56pm each day, focuses on the most modern Madrid, you will see must-see places such as:
- Plaza de Neptuno
- Santiago Bernabeu Stadium
- Archaeological Museum
- Natural Science Museum
- Plaza de las Cortes
- Puerta de Alcalá
- Serrano 61, 66
- Nuevos Ministerios
On board the bus, you will have an audio guide in 14 languages that will provide you with interesting information about the monuments and main attractions of Madrid, as well as free wifi on board.
And that's not all. Any day of the week between 12:00 and 16:00, you can enjoy a meal at the popular tablao La Quimera, close to the Plaza Mayor. You can choose between red Rioja wine, water, soft drink, white wine or beer.
You can also enjoy a bike or go-kart ride around El Retiro from Monday to Sunday, between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and for 30 minutes, just go to the venue located at Avenida Menéndez Pelayo, 9.
In summer, you can also discover the magic of Madrid at nightfall with the panoramic night-time route "Historic Madrid under the stars". Available between 15 June and 15 September, this route follows the same route as route 1 (blue), offering a unique perspective of the capital. You can explore the most iconic monuments, such as the Royal Palace, the Gran Vía and the Temple of Debod, while the city is illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. Enjoy the night-time essence of Madrid from the comfort of your seat, under the moonlight.
