    It's a good plan to do it at your own pace, but you have to be aware that there may be a wait at security and a lot of crowds in key rooms. Even so, for the artistic content, it's well worth it.

    I found the Etruscan and Egyptian part very interesting, and it was not on my radar. Then the "famous" galleries are more than adequate. With the time slot, zero stress.

    We stopped at courtyards and halls to rest, because the tour is long. The Belvedere Courtyard gave us life. The Sistine at the end is like: OK, now I understand everything.

    I was expecting a bit more "silence" in the Sistine and it is impossible with so many people (normal). Still, seeing those frescoes in person leaves you touched. The fact that you can get in without going through the ticket office is appreciated.
