Step by Step

Venice is one of those cities that is unlike any other, and this excursion from Lake Garda is a very convenient way to discover it in a single day. The trip is by coach, allowing you to depart from various points around the lake and arrive in the city without worrying about transport arrangements.

After the road trip, which takes about 3 hours each way depending on the departure point, the experience continues with a boat ride to St. Mark's Square. This arrival by water adds a very special touch to the tour and allows you to begin your visit by enjoying one of the most iconic images of Venice.

Once in the heart of the city, you will take a 40-minute walking tour with headphones, designed to discover the layout of the streets and some of the most famous sights. During this first part of the tour you will be able to situate yourself in the city and recognise such well-known spots as St. Mark's Square, the area around the Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, the campanile and the Rialto Bridge.

After the guided tour, the excursion leaves several hours of free time to continue discovering Venice on your own. It's the perfect time to wander through its narrow streets, stop along the canals, take photos or even add an optional experience, such as a gondola ride, if you feel like completing the day even more.

At the end of the day, you will meet up with your tour leader to take the boat back from St. Mark's Square to the bus park, before heading back to Lake Garda. All in all, this is a very complete tour to enjoy Venice in an organised and comfortable way, with plenty of time to savour the atmosphere of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Good full day plan. The bus is several hours, but Venice from St Mark's to Rialto more than makes up for it.

The experience was quite balanced: transport, boat, initial explanation and free time. I didn't feel we were rushed.

I loved walking without a map after the guided tour. Every alley seemed to lead to a different corner.

The excursion allowed us to visit Venice without complications from Lake Garda. The free time in the afternoon was the best part.
