The Big Bus sightseeing bus lets you explore Sydney without having to organise each journey separately. You can take the full circuits to get an initial overview, or use the stops to create a personalised itinerary and spend more time at the places that interest you most.

The red route runs through central Sydney and has several stops near The Rocks, Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, the Botanical Gardens, Darling Harbour, Hyde Park and other city highlights. The full circuit takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The blue route connects the city with Bondi, allowing you to discover one of Australia’s most famous beaches. During the journey, you’ll pass through various neighbourhoods and coastal areas before getting off at Bondi Beach to take a stroll, relax by the sea or soak up the lively atmosphere. This route also takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The Discover ticket offers 24 hours of unlimited travel and is a practical option for those who want to see the main attractions in a single day. The Essential ticket extends the validity to 48 hours, allowing you to spread your visits over two days and explore both the city centre and Bondi at a more leisurely pace.

Validity begins when you activate the ticket on the booked day. You can start your journey at any of the designated stops and, from that moment, hop on and off as many times as you like during the 24 or 48 hours corresponding to your chosen option.

  • The City Tour usually runs from 9.00 to 16.00, with tours taking approximately 30 to 40 minutes
  • The Bondi Tour usually runs from 9.20 am to 4.00 pm, with tours lasting approximately 35 to 45 minutes
  • Download the Big Bus Tours app before your visit from the App Store or Google Play and add your booking using the reference number.
  • Activate your ticket in the app on the day of your visit so that you can show it to the driver and board the bus. Please note that it can only be activated on the date booked.
  • If you have a group booking, you must all travel together using the same device. If you wish to travel separately, you will need to print out individual tickets before activating them or ask for the booking to be split. Also, remember to ensure your mobile phone is fully charged, although the ticket works offline once activated.
