Buenos Aires Tango Show at La Ventana

The tango show at La Ventana transports you directly to the origins of Argentine tango in a setting steeped in history. Located in the heart of San Telmo - the birthplace of tango and one of the most traditional neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires - this space has been carefully restored to preserve its original architecture, creating an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere.

The evening begins with a journey through the sounds, rhythms and emotions that brought tango to life. On stage, a majestic orchestra conducted by Juan D'Arienzo, accompanied by a quintet, offers a musical performance that captures the essence of the golden age of the genre. Alongside them, two tango singers give voice to unforgettable classics, while five dance couples display all their technique and passion on stage.

But La Ventana is not limited to tango: the show also includes music from the Argentinean Altiplano and a vibrant folkloric ballet, culminating in a boleadora demonstration, highlighting the strength and skill of the gaucho culture. In total, 32 artists on stage offer a varied, dynamic and deeply representative show of the Argentinean identity.
