You will then board a shared gondola for a 30-minute ride along the Grand Canal and other smaller waterways. During the ride you will admire some of the most representative sights of the city, such as the La Fenice area, Mozart's House, the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, Punta della Dogana, the surroundings of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and views towards the San Marco basin.
In addition to the walk itself, this activity includes elements that greatly enrich the visit. You will receive access to a mobile app with commentary on the tour and a QR code to download a digital map showing what Venice was like between the Middle Ages and the 18th century, a very attractive way to compare the city today with its past.
The experience is completed with the Gondola Gallery, where you will discover how these traditional boats are made through original tools and a detailed cross-section, and with a virtual reality experience that will allow you to travel through historic Venice. It's a very complete proposal for those looking for more than just a gondola ride.
